Geography Teacher

Do you have a genuine passion for Geography? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in September?

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced Geography Teacher, to join a forward thinking Geography team in September. The successful Geography Teacher will be required to have experience teaching Physical and Human Geography, topics including;

  • Physical - Rivers & water, rock landscapes, ecosystem, coastal landscapes and weather climate
  • Human - Urban issues & challenges, the changing economic world and the challenge of resource management

The Geography Teacher role, involves teaching a full time Key stag 3 and 4 Geography time table. Teaching a range of students with different academic abilities, from bottom to top set, with the opportunity to support educational Geography trips in the UK and abroad.

  • Geography Teacher, teaching the AQA Curriculum
  • Located in Tameside, South Manchester
  • Starting in September on a temporary basis, with the opportunity of a permanent contract
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis through our PAYE scheme
  • Teaching secondary school students, with a range of academic abilities

Due to an open vacancy at our client's secondary school, they are looking to recruit an experienced Geography Teacher to join their strong Geography department, who has a track record for producing high academic grades. The head of the Geography department is looking for a Geography Teacher who will;

  • Produce fun and interactive lesson plans to engage and inspire all the students
  • Have a good knowledge and experience teaching topics on human and physical Geography
  • Be able to commit to a full time Geography Teacher role
  • Have a confident classroom presence to control a large class of Geography students
  • Have experience teaching the AQA Curriculum

The high achieving secondary school who is seeking a Geography Teacher is located in Tameside, in the Denton area. Being on the outskirts of central Manchester, there is excellent public transport links close by making the school easily to access. With modern facilities, annual educational trips and a strong supporting team, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher.
