Geography Teacher

Due to an upcoming gap in our client secondary school's Humanities department, there is a need for a qualified Geography teacher to join them on a full time basis, with the post commencing January 2019.

The post is initially being offered as a fixed temporary gap until the end of this academic year, though there will be the opportunity for the successful teacher of Geography to continue beyond this post, as a permanent member of staff.

- Earn MPS initially for the duration (£23,720 - £35,008)

- Two term, Geography teaching requirement

Due to the nature of this position as a fixed requirement, the incoming Geography teacher will take on responsibility for planning, marking and assessing schemes of work for their assigned classes, along with providing pastoral support to an assigned form group. In turn for delivering a high standard of teaching for the duration of the post, the school will support the incoming Geography teacher with regular professional development opportunities and support from an experienced Faculty lead.
