Geography Teacher – Secondary School | Bournemouth
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth with the recruitment of a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. The school is open to applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are passionate about inspiring young people through Geography.
The Role:
- Full-time Geography Teacher position starting in September
- Teach engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
- Foster curiosity and encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
- Be confident delivering engaging lessons to mixed-ability classes
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be motivated, adaptable, and committed to student progress
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
