Secondary General Teaching Assistant - September Start

Permanent, Full-Time

Salary:

£85 - £110 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational programmes
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials
  • Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Supervising students during activities and break times
  • Providing support to students with special educational needs
  • Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and orderly classroom environment

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting, interacting with students, teachers, and parents. The work hours are full-time and may require occasional evening or weekend work for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
