Secondary Teachers with QTS

Location:

Clapham, Brixton, Wandsworth. Lambeth

Salary:

£150 - £230 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to secondary school students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders regarding student performance and progress
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience working with secondary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on students' needs
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional subject-specific qualifications

Working Conditions:

  • Full-Time hours with occasional extracurricular responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
