Based in Oldham, our client school is a large secondary which was newly built recently to serve the local community. This is a highly improved secondary school with Ofsted rating it as ‘good’ in leadership and management. The newly appointed head and management have reinstated the importance of high teaching standards, having a positive impact on student’s behaviour and attainment. This has led to a vast improvement in GCSE results with 85%of pupils achieving five or more A*-C grades in 2016.

• Both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers are encouraged to apply

Situated in Hollinwood, the school is easily accessible via the M60 motorway and the surrounding areas; Rochdale, Central Manchester and Bury. For non-drivers there is a variety of transport links a short distance from the school.

The successful Maths teacher will be responsible for developing plans and lessons in line with the curriculum across both KS3 and KS4, facilitating the learning of all pupils by establishing relationships and employing a range of strategies to raise the pupil’s attainment. The head of department is looking for a teacher of Maths that has excellent behaviour management skills and outstanding classroom presence.
