Teaching Personnel are looking for Cover Supervisors to work under the guidance of teaching staff and the Cover Manager, to support pupils in and out of the classroom.

Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties, support and lunchtime duties in school. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative.

Cover Supervisors should have good communication skills; as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard. In return we will provide you with a dedicated, experienced consultant who will offer ongoing support once you are working, and will assist with future placements.

This is an ideal position for candidates who are either looking to apply for a PGCE or are looking for more experience before you start your PGCE.

In order to do this role you will need to be educated to degree or A Level and have previous experience of working with 11-18 year olds or be of graduate calibre and willing to undertake a free training course for the role.
