If you've been unsure of how to utilise your degree, and have been considering a career in education, Teaching Personnel's Future Teachers Graduate scheme can support you through gaining the necessary experience to introduce you to Teaching and help you to secure a school based Teacher Training programme.
This programme is available to all graduates and undergraduates looking for a pathway into teaching special education needs (SEN) schools, with graduates of all subjects welcomed. Working within an SEN school could be the perfect career choice for a graduate who has studied Health and Social care or Psychology!
Teaching children with Special Educational Needs can be one of the most rewarding roles available within Education, as their curriculum is structured in great detail to suit their specific needs. SEN schools approach their students with a holistic approach to learning, ensuring their social and cognitive development and building their skills to work towards independence.
Future Teachers overview;
- Up-to 1-year graduate support role prior to beginning your teacher training the following year through one of our partners schools initial teacher training programme
- Applicants must be educated to degree level (or completing their degree) and be looking to pursue a career as a teacher in the future
- Earn up to £1400 per month whilst gaining invaluable experience in a variety of education settings.
