Fully Qualified Teacher – Day-to-Day Supply | Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire| Start: ASAP ️ | Contract: Day-to-Day/ Short-Term Supply | Pay: £120–£165 per day (PAYE)
About the Role
Are you a fully qualified teacher ready to bring your expertise to an inclusive and high-expectation secondary school with sixth form provision?
We’re working with a forward-thinking school in the Wisbech area to recruit fully qualified teachers for day-to-day supply cover, flexible scheduling, and immediate start. You’ll have the opportunity to teach your specialist subject(s), support students through curriculum delivery, and maintain high standards during teacher absences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons in your subject(s) across Key Stage 3, 4, and possibly sixth form
- Adapt and follow existing schemes of work and resources
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress in your lessons and provide feedback in line with school expectations
- Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure consistency and quality of education
What We’re Looking For
You will be ideal if you:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have a degree in your subject area(s) or strong proven experience in secondary education
- Are confident delivering across multiple key stages, including possibly A Levels / BTECs in your subject(s)
- Can adapt quickly to different classroom settings and be available at short notice
- Are committed to high standards, student wellbeing, and professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
