Your Day-to-Day Role

  • As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be the person who keeps learning on track by:
  • Leading classes during teacher absence using pre-prepared work
  • Maintaining strong behaviour management to keep lessons calm and focused
  • Engaging and motivating students across a range of subjects (KS3–KS4)
  • Creating a positive, supportive classroom environment
  • Being ready for both pre-booked and short notice cover
  • No planning. No marking. Just real, meaningful experience.

 

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Have experience with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work etc.)
  • Are confident in managing behaviour and leading a classroom
  • Are adaptable, reliable, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting secondary-aged learners
  • Can travel easily to schools across the Wisbech area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
