FS2 (Reception) Class Teacher — S10 Area Schools
Location: Primary schools in the S10 area (Sheffield)
Salary: £120–£180 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term or permanent
Start Date: September 2025 or earlier
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic FS2 Class Teacher to join a warm and supportive early years team in one of our partner primary schools in the S10 area. You will play a vital role in creating a positive, playful, and stimulating learning environment that supports each child’s development during this important early stage.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS curriculum activities
✅ Support the development of children’s early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
✅ Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning space
✅ Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support each child’s progress
✅ Observe, track, and report on pupil development and achievements
✅ Ensure all safeguarding and welfare requirements are met
We’re Looking For:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Early Years/Foundation Stage
✔ A thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework
✔ A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
✔ Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
✔ The ability to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in young children
✔ Commitment to providing the highest standard of care and education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
