Are you a recent graduate curious about teaching? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to get hands-on experience in schools across Hastings and East Sussex. This is a great way to see what teaching is really like, gain experience, and decide if a career in education is right for you.
Whether you’re thinking about a PGCE, School Direct, or another route into teaching, working in schools now will give you a real feel for the classroom and help build your confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting teachers in classrooms across primary and secondary schools

Helping pupils with tasks and activities, individually or in small groups
-
Assisting with lesson prep and delivery
-
Observing teachers and learning classroom management and teaching techniques
-
Helping create a positive and supportive classroom environment
Who We’re Looking For:

A recent graduate (any subject – but some schools may want specific subjects like Maths, Science, or English)
-
Excited about working with kids and young people
-
Friendly, reliable, and flexible
-
A team player who’s happy to learn and take on new challenges
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
