Administration Staff
Job description

Teaching Personnel is working with schools across Hastings and East Sussex to recruit dedicated administration staff to provide essential support to school operations. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment and contribute to the smooth running of a school.
The Role:

Supporting the daily running of the school office
-
Handling phone calls, emails, and general enquiries from parents, staff, and visitors

Managing student records, databases, and attendance systems
-
Assisting with school communications, letters, and reports
-
Supporting teachers and senior leadership with administrative tasks
-
Organising meetings, appointments, and school events
-
Ensuring a welcoming, organised, and professional environment
Who We’re Looking For:
-
Previous experience in administration or office work (school experience is a bonus, but not essential)
-
Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Confident using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office
-
A professional, friendly, and proactive approach
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
