Are you a Food Technology Teacher looking for a new role starting after October half term?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary school in Derbyshire, aiding them in recruiting a new Food Technology Teacher to coveruntil Christmas 2020.

Please see further information below:

  • Full-time role starting after October half term til December 2020
  • Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided
  • Must hold specific subject qualifications in Design Technology
  • Teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE

Working as a Food Technology Teacher in our client school, responsibilities will include assessing and evaluating student’s progress and reporting this back to Senior Teachers in order to take appropriate action to ensure pupils meet their aims and objectives. Candidates will also be expected to support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Food Technology alongside planning, preparing and delivering lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.

Our client Secondary school is looking for a Food Technology Teacher who can aid pupils’ attainment alongside providing behaviour management skills. Any experience with behaviour management training, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties will be highly valued however; our client school does provide excellent behavioural support for their staff.
