Teacher of Food Technology/Food Technology Teacher - Catholic High School in Liverpool

  • Catholic High School, North Liverpool
  • Fixed term contract (maternity)
  • Pay negotiable depending on experience (M1, £22,467-UPS3, £38,250)

A popular Catholic Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Food Technology Teacher for a fixed term maternity contract in their successful Technology department.

The School:

This lively Catholic High School is a popular school with high academic standards across all subjects. It is amongst the highest performing schools in the LEA and boasts state of the art facilities with a new and up to date Technology suite. The Headteacher said “This is full-time and will involve teaching Food Tech in our strong department, the time table will consist of both KS3 and GCSE classes and appropriate time will be given for planning required marking”.

The Role:

The incoming Food Technology Teacher will benefit from a fixed term contract on a full-time basis delivering across KS3/4. The opportunity to work in a highly regarded school where students achieve well academically and behaviour is and engagement is graded good by Ofsted. UK QTS, up to date and valid references along with recent experience of delivering to GCSE level in a mainstream high school is essential for this role.
