Food and Nutrition Teacher
Manchester

Start: April 2019
Salary: in line with MPS/UPS

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable and highly motivated Food and Nutrition teacher to join our partner school located in South Manchester.

The successful Food and Nutrition teacher will join the department in April 2019 and will be required until the end of the academic year (July 2019). The school wishes to appoint permanently therefore the successful applicant has the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff at our partner school. The successful teacher will develop and adapt curriculum overviews in Food and Nutrition for both KS3 and KS4. They will deliver an appropriately broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for pupils to contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment.

Our client school is a popular and oversubscribed popular 11-18 school located in Manchester. The school also has an established Sixth Form which provides academic and vocational courses for young women of all abilities. As part of the Education and Leadership Trust, the school has a clear mission to educate and inspire young people to be the next generation of leaders of the future.

In their most recent Ofsted report, the school received an excellent report and was officially judged as a 'Good' school. Ofsted described the school as a highly motivated and positive school where pupils are positive about their school life. This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Maths teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher to gain an introduction into a successful and supportive school in Manchester. Whilst this is a temporary position in the first instance, there is potential for this post to extend should the period of absence get extended.

Pay rate reflect to UPS/MPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
