Job description

Are you passionate about education and looking for a flexible role as a Teaching Assistant? Look no further! We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Maidenhead, with opportunities to work across schools in the vibrant community of Slough.

Role Overview:
As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting classroom activities and promoting the educational development of students. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during class activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and teaching styles.
  • A passion for supporting the educational development of young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
