Job Title: Nursery Practitioner – Flexible Roles Across Wigan & Warrington
Location: Various nursery settings in Wigan and Warrington
Pay Rate: £89.44 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Temporary (Full-Time and Part-Time hours available)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years professional? We are currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners to support a variety of nursery settings across Wigan and Warrington. These flexible roles are ideal for qualified practitioners who are enthusiastic about early years education and can adapt to different settings while providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 0–5.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting children's development through play, storytelling, sensory activities, and structured learning.
- Promoting children’s independence, wellbeing, and social interaction in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Contributing to daily observations and assisting with planning for individual learning needs.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and nursery teams across different settings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent (essential).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Practical knowledge of the EYFS framework and current safeguarding procedures.
- Recent experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years role.
- A caring, flexible, and reliable approach to working with young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
