EYFS Teachers Needed in Balham
Location: Balham, South West London

Welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Balham are seeking a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teachers to join their Early Years teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping children’s first experiences of school and fostering a love of learning from the very beginning.
About the Role:
You will take full responsibility for a Nursery or Reception class, delivering high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework. The role involves creating a stimulating, play-based learning environment while supporting children’s development across all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum
• Support children’s development in communication, phonics, early maths and social skills
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, track and support pupil progress
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in EYFS (Nursery or Reception preferred)
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• A nurturing, creative and patient approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to supporting every child’s individual needs
