Nursery Teacher required to work in a large 2 form entry school in Bradford

  • Competitive rates of pay (up to £187.00)

A large school that is moving forward are looking for a Nursery teacher to:

•Promote excellence, equality and high expectations of all pupils, and the wider school community, ensuring a consistent and continuous school wide focus on pupils’ achievement, with learning at the school.



•Monitor and assess pupil results and progress, ensuring appropriate records have been kept, and use performance data to inform individual pupil, class targets, lesson planning and the preparation of differentiated work, which meets the needs and potential of all pupils.

•Contribute to the effective deployment of support staff and resources (ICT and consumables) within the class.



•Develop high quality teaching and learning in Year 1 including the monitoring of the curriculum planning and the giving of feedback and advice, assisting and supporting colleagues with the planning and delivery of a differentiated, creative, active and stimulating curriculum.

The school is a happy, caring place where children can thrive and make good progress and where they are taught life long qualities and values. The school provides a bright, stimulating and orderly environment in which pupils can learn. The team is a strong and happy one who all help each other and are always at hand if any support is required.

Teaching Personnel are also working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers such as the National Association of SEN and Leeds Trinity University to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; assessment for learning, planning for progression, effective behaviour management, teaching for learning, literacy and numeracy in the curriculum, using data, SEND, effective adult learning support, supporting pupils with BESD, Team Teach, Moving & Handling, Safeguarding and the Ethos in Catholic Schools.
