An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a unique, welcoming school as a Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher from September. You will be joining a happy school community whose staff are committed to building on the successes they have recently achieved.

The School is rated as Good overall with an Outstanding Early Years Foundations Stage, by Ofsted. Staff are proud to work at the school and have worked as a team to take the school through a period of significant change. Their commitment and dedication to the school and the harmonious relationships they have with the children and their families was highlighted as a particular strength in their most recent Ofsted report.

The successful applicant will have the skills and desire to develop and nurture every child in their care. You will be able to deliver consistently good and outstanding teaching and learning, in order to support all children, to achieve outstanding progress and higher attainment.

You will demonstrate the ability to plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum in accordance with the educational needs of all children and the policies of the school and the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will have a proven track record of monitoring, and assessment with the ability to record children’s learning effectively in accordance with school policies and the requirement of EYFS.

The school has a very positive ethos, where high expectations are the norm. New staff, including newly qualified teachers, will be quickly introduced to the procedures of the school by more experienced mentors. The school are committed to providing continuous professional development opportunities.
