EYFS Support Assistant Required until summer within an Bury Primary School.
- Are you an experienced EYFS SSA?
- If you are looking for a temporary post until summer and can commute to Bury (BL8) to support within a Reception class this is the right opportunity for you!
- The school is seeking a full time EYFS Teaching Assistant to start in February and run through until at least summer 2018. Our client school in Bury close to the BL8 and a number of local bus routes.
- CACHE Level2/3 in Childcare/Supporting Teaching and Learning is essential for this role.
The School:
There are around 310 children in the school and they have 12 classes from Nursery to Year 6. Every classroom has a Teacher and Teaching Assistant; there is also additional classroom and admin support staff who all contribute to the positive ethos within the school.
The Bury Primary School is a busy, friendly and popular school with a warm and welcoming ethos which is recognised by all who visit. The Staff, Parents and Governors of the school all work together to try to provide the best for the families that it serves and they want their children to enjoy their time and education with us and to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives.
The school prides their selves on providing a learning environment where children grow and develop in safe and supportive surroundings becoming 'Creative thinkers and lifelong learners'. All of the children are known, valued and respected as individuals who leave school ready for the next stage in their education with life skills which prepare them for their future.
EYFS Teaching Assistants wishing to apply will need to have the following;
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Firm classroom presence and commitment to supporting pupils.
- Knowledge of teaching the EFYS Framework.
- Be available to start February until July 2018.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
