Job description

Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in Early Years and a strong understanding of supporting children with SEN and medical needs? Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming faith primary school in Bootle to recruit a dedicated EYFS TA for the full academic year.

Start: September 2025 | Long-Term Role (Full Academic Year)

This is a late vacancy, so trial days will take place during the first week of September.


 

✅ About the Role:

  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday, school hours)

  • Working within a nurturing Early Years setting

  • 1:1 SEN support within EYFS

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Confident supporting pupils with SEN and medical needs

  • Patient, caring, and committed to inclusive learning

  • Comfortable working in a faith-based school setting

CPD & Training Provided by Teaching Personnel:

As part of your journey with Teaching Personnel, you’ll have access to ongoing CPD, including:

  • Autism Awareness

  • ADHD & Behaviour Management

  • Thrive Approach

  • Understanding and Supporting Childrenwith SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
