Supporting Cerebral Palsy on a 1:1 basis

September Start with a view to 1 year contract

SEN Teaching assistant within the EYFS

I am currently working with a Primary School in the Ordsall area of Salford which is on the border of Manchester and Trafford. They are looking to support identified children within the early years and as a result are looking to appoint an SEN teaching assistant on a long term, full time basis from January. The role of an SEN teaching assistant will be supporting a child in the Early Years on a 1:1 basis with Cerebral Palsy.

If you have experience working in a primary school supporting with SEN, whether it is Cerebral Palsy or other similar needs, you would be welcomed to apply. Additional experience with phonics would be desirable. An understanding and experience working within the Early Years environment would be beneficial and of course, if you have worked with Cerebral Palsy or similar SEN experience within a primary or SEN school, you would be welcomed to apply.

The school are in a good, established position and are excited to have a new head teacher from September due to the retirement of the long standing current head teacher. As someone with a lot of experience and an established, successful staff team, both teaching assistants would be welcomed with open arms and would learn a lot in the next academic year.

  • SEN Teaching Assistant - Cerebral Palsy
  • 1:1 support within the Early Years
  • Long Term Position
  • September Start

If you are still looking for a long term position in September and have the aforementioned experience, please get in touch with Rick ASAP in the Manchester West Primary Branch of Teaching Personnel.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
