Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Basingstoke from May 2026. About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well-planned English lessons that challenge and support learners at KS3 and KS4.
- Use excellent behaviour management to maintain a purposeful, respectful and inclusive classroom culture where students feel motivated and safe to learn.
- Promote a diverse and rich English curriculum that develops students’ skills in literature, language, reading comprehension and writing.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice, contribute to curriculum development and help drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement in line with school values.
