Primary Teacher – EYFS / Year 1 (Maternity Cover)

Location: BL5
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover (Until the End of the Academic Year)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in BL5 from September. This is a full-time maternity cover position running until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will teach in either EYFS or Year 1 and will be committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that support pupils to achieve their full potential.

We welcome applications from:

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Fully Qualified Teachers (QTS)

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1
  • Strong knowledge and experience of delivering phonics programmes
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A passion for creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
