Teaching Personnelis currently seeking an experienced Reception Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2025. We are working in close partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Bolton.

As a Reception teacher, you will join a well-established Early Years environment, ensuring consistent care, learning, and development for young children. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a supportive and structured setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Planning aligned to the Early Years Framework.
  • Facilitate play-based learning and structured group activities.
  • Tailor delivery to meet children’s developmental stages and individual needs.
  • Encourage social interaction, language development, and independence.
  • Use your knowledge of the Early Learning Goals and Development Matters to guide provision and expectations.
  • Ensure a safe, engaging environment at all times.
  • Be vigilant with safeguarding and wellbeing protocols.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) via PGCE, Degree with QTS, or SCITT.
  • Relevant EYFS teaching experience and strong classroom behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
