EYFS Teacher

A local primary school in the Stockport area is looking for a qualified teacher with Early Years specialism to join their team. They are looking for a caring and nurturing individual, available on a full-time basis, with proven experience in an EYFS setting and a desire to support children in the start of their learning journey.

 

Role Description

-          Planning and delivering and engaging and interactive Early Years curriculum.

-          Maintaining a stimulating classroom environment to support learning through play.

-          Delivery early phonics lessons aligned with the curriculum.

-          Supporting children in all areas including personal, social and emotional development.

-          Helping children achieve all Early Learning Goals.

-          Differentiating delivery of curriculum to support children’s different needs.

 

Role Requirements

-          A completed teaching qualification with QTS.

-          Proven experience in an Early Years setting.

-          Experience of using and delivering phonics schemes.

-          Excellent written communication skills and command of English language.

-          Available full-time.

-          Understanding of the personal needs of supporting children aged 3-5.

An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is mandatory for this role. If you do not currently have one, you will need to apply through Teaching Personnel as part of the vetting process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
