A specialist SEN school in Medway are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a full time post. The school delivers a differentiated curriculum for pupils with severe learning difficulties aged 0-19.
You will appreciate and support the role of teachers and other professionals by developing and delivering care and support programmes which enable access to learning in the community as part of a teacher planned approach. You will also be required to attend to pupils' personal needs, implementing and maintaining personal care plans and paying attention to personal, health and welfare in line with school policies.
You will be available to work during school hours during term time and have flexibility to attend staff meetings and/or training sessions outside of school hours.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
