Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary
Part Time | Newtown Abbot & surrounding areas
£120–£150 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools in the Newtown Abbot area who are looking for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join them on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for ECTs looking to gain experience across primary year groups, build confidence in the classroom, and enjoy flexible work while continuing their professional development.

The role:
• Teaching engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Gaining experience across different year groups and school environments
• Working alongside experienced teachers and supportive leadership teams
• Roles available range from short-term supply to longer-term placements

Who this role is ideal for:
• ECTs with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Newly qualified teachers looking to broaden their classroom experience
• Teachers seeking flexible, part-time work to suit their lifestyle
• Confident, enthusiastic and adaptable practitioners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
