You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that support the development of key literacy, numeracy, and social skills, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate proven teaching experience within Key Stage 1 (ideally Year 1).

Have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective classroom management strategies.

Show the ability to inspire, motivate, and support children with a range of learning needs and abilities.

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an up-to-date DBS.

Your Responsibilities:
• Teach a Year 1 class using engaging, creative, and inclusive lesson plans
• Deliver high-quality phonics and early literacy sessions
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO, and the wider school team
