Exams Officer/Administrator

A school in Tameside is looking for an Exams Officer to join the administration team.

Applications are welcome from:

• Individuals with SIMS experience/specific administration experience.
• Individuals who are proficient in IT/Data Input.
• Those looking for an exciting new role in an Ofsted graded 'Good' school.

The role will involve:

• Managing exam invigilation and external invigilators attending the school.
• Liase with the school SENCO to ensure access arrangements are made for SEN pupils.
• Organise examination papers and ensure all security arrangements are in place when exams take place.
• Brief candidates on expectations and regulations before exams.
• Manage examination timetables.
• Monitor health and safety regulations.
• Submit exam entries for external exams.
• Managing budgets, keeping up to date with JCQ regulations.

The individual required:

• Will be proactive, organised and punctual 
• Will be determined in ensuring that 
• Will be confident in managing peoople.
• Will have excellent communication skills. 
• Will be able to display patience and resillience.

Pay - between GBP10 and GBP13 per hour.

The school:

• Located in Tameside, the school is not far from Manchester City Centre.
• Several transport links within close proximity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
