Are you an experienced English Teacher who can teach up to KS4?

Have you previously worked as an English Tutor within an online capacity?

As one of the 33 approved suppliers, Teaching Personnel are working with client schools to provide tutors across Lincolnshire to provide tuition to students whose learning has been disrupted by the pandemic.

Schools in Lincolnshire are seeking an English Tutor to work online, tutoring students across both KS3 and KS4. Applications are welcomed from Qualified English Teachers, Tutors and English Graduates with experience in 1:1 or small group tuition.

About the role:

  • Tutoring Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons
  • Contact hours between 1pm - 4pm with this specific school
  • Opportunity to build up additional hours/larger timetable with a number of schools
  • Other subjects available at the same school for multi-disciplined candidates

The school requires a tutor to work with students who:

  • Have SEN – students may have Dyslexia/Dyspraxia.
  • Are reluctant to engage with the mainstream process/work set.
  • Have fallen behind the expected rate of progression at this stage.

The school have already highlighted a selection of students who could benefit from working alongside an approachable and enthusiastic tutor. The tutor will be required to work in collaboration with teaching staff to learn about the specific areas for development. As a tutor, you will be able to recognise where pupils require targeted intervention on certain topics.

Whilst this is an online tutoring role working remotely, you must live within the Lincolnshire area to qualify for this particular role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
