Job description

English Tutor

-          KS3/4 Provision

-          Part-time (Mornings only) or 2-3 day per week.

-          Start Date: ASAP

-          End date: Long-term

-          £90-£135 p/day

Teaching Personnel have been approached by an alternative Provision in Blackburn who need an English tutor to join their team. The school caters for pupils aged 11-16 who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties and can display challenging behaviours. All pupils follow the national curriculum which has been suitably adapted to meet the needs of each pupil.

The school require an educator to deliver the English curriculum across KS3 and KS4. As a tutor in this provision, you will need to display strong behaviour management strategies and engage all pupils in your class. You must be able to differentiate lesson plans to suit the pupils ECHP and liaise with all support staff to ensure a whole support network is in place for all pupils.

There is no fee to join Teaching Personnel, all we ask is that you have the correct experiences, qualifications, and an up-to-date DBS on the update service online or a willingness to obtain one.
