Would you like to be paid to train and guarantee yourself a spot on a schools direct/teach first/PGCE?

If you're answering yes, then Teaching Personnel would like to hear from you..... Now! I'm working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school in Richmond upon Thames looking for English Grads to start immediately, and work for the rest of the academic year.

A top achieving school, with excellent transport links, where the young people are challenged to succeed and are well taught and cared for by a dedicated team of professionals.

A large comprehensive school with circa 1350 students, including the sixth form department. The school focuses on ways to instil their new shared values in all of their work:

The graduate scheme was established in 2012 and has so far helped over twenty teachers including 4 English teachers become fully qualified.

You will become an integral part of the English department and learn how plan, prepare and deliver lessons. You will also learn behaviour management techniques and how to differentiate your lessons.

In return you will expected to raise attainment through 1-2-1 and small group tuition and in class support.

The roles are 5 days per week, school days, so you'd typically be working 8.15-3.30ish. There will be a small amount marking and assessment involved.

Ideal candidates have the following -

A first or 2:1 in an English based degree

Previous tuition and/or school based experience

A 'can do' attitude and a desire to teach
