The Role - English Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a fantastic secondary school based in South East London. The school require an enthusiastic and creative English Teacher to join them this January 2018 on a permanent basis. This high achieving secondary school recently achieved the highest GCSE and A level results in the borough, achieving 92% in grades A-C and therefore require a English Teacher who is going to maintain these high standards and more. You must be able to confidently plan, prepare and deliver outstanding English lessons to students and will previously have had good to outstanding lesson observations and be able to provide 2 satisfactory references. As an English Teacher you will be expected to have excellent subject knowledge, the role will be teaching KS3-KS5 English Language and English Literature to all different learning abilities, as an English Teacher you will ensure that the students achieve their highest potential in their GCSE and A' Levels, set suitable learning objectives and targets to students which are relevant to the key stages, be able to create an enjoyable learning environment and be able to engage the students in the lessons.
