English Teacher

An independent school located close to Wimborne are looking for an English Teacher to support them full time after Easter.

The college is a day and residential further education college, supporting young people with autistic spectrum conditions including Asperger’s syndrome, social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders and mental health needs. Their focus is on developing skills to lead to independent living, employment, further and higher education.

This position will involve delivering functional skills/GCSE English to students between the ages of 14-16 in a school that has just been opened by the main college site.

All applicants must have the following:

• Experience teaching English at GCSE Level
• QTS or extensive teaching experience
• Experience teaching students that have additional needs
• Access to a vehicle as the school is not easily accessed by public transport
