English Secondary Teacher Needed – Crosby – March 2020
Are you an English trained teacher looking for full time work for March 2020?
Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Good rated secondary school in the Knowsley area that have a temporary need for a English teacher on a long term basis with a view to permanent for the right candidate.
You’ll be required to start before the half term break, working full time within the schools English department. The timetable consists of KS3 and GCSE English teaching (but not Year 11); previous experience is required for any interested applicants. You may on occasion be asked to cover other lessons within the department; planning and set work will be provided along with the department’s full support.
The role:
- KS3/4 English teacher, full time position starting in March 2020
- Supportive department with excellent facilities
- Allocated PPA/Planning time
- Salary negotiable (dependant on experience)
- School situated in the Crosby area
- The school is easy accessible via public transport links.
The School is a larger-than-average secondary school with a sixth form with the majority of students speaking English as their first language. The proportion of students identified by the school as disabled or as having special educational needs is similar to the national average. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils at the school is similar to the national average.
