English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting an experienced English Teacher on behalf of one of our client's secondary school, to start in the new academic year in September 2019. Our client is a Catholic Secondary School located in South Manchester, with 750 students ranging from 11 - 16.

The job role will involve you teaching English to KS3 - KS4 students, supporting them to achieve their academic targets. Planning and preparing interesting lessons to engage all the students in the class to learn something new every lesson. Working full time on a temporary basis to see if you are the right candidate for the job and if successful you will be offered a permanent English Teacher Position.

  • Starting in September 2019
  • Full time role, working 08:30 - 15:30, 5 days a week
  • Located in South Manchester
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (ÂŁ23,720 - ÂŁ39,406) with weekly pay
  • Potential to earn a full time contract
  • Teaching Maths to KS3 - KS4 students

Due to an open vacancy at our client's Secondary Catholic School, the head of the English department is seeking a motivated and hard working English Teacher who is passionate about teaching English.

The successful English Teacher will;

  • Teach a range of students will different academic abilities
  • Produce exciting lesson plans to captivate your students
  • Teach English Language and English Literature
  • Be able to supply extra support to students failing to meet their target grade

Located in South Manchester in the Trafford area, just of the M60, the secondary school can easily be accessed if you were to drive. For public transport, there is a number of bus stops close and a tram stop round the corner making it easy to get to from central Manchester.
