English Teacher - Bury

  • Pay in line with scale point, up to £33,160 per annum
  • Working solely with KS3 pupils, planning and assessing work in line with the curriculum
  • Opportunity to gain an introduction to an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary school in Bury

Are you a qualified teacher of English seeking a new position in Bury from Easter?

If so, Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of our client Secondary school, who have an opening within their English department for a KS3 specialist. This position commences in April 2017, after the Easter break – and is initially being offered until summer. There is also the prospect of a permanent role from September 2017.

This position will entail planning and delivering English lessons to students across Key Stage Three with varying abilities. The appointed English teacher will also have the opportunity to work within a forward thinking department with state of the art facilities.

- Full time English teaching position, Easter start

- Pay in line with scale point, up to £33,160 per annum

- Prospect of a permanent post within an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary school

- Located near the centre of Bury, accessible via public transportation links from the city centre

Due to the intake of pupils increasing each year, there is a requirement for an English teacher to deliver the curriculum to KS3 groups.



Our partner Secondary school is located near to the centre of Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and M62 motorways. Public transportation links from Manchester, Bolton and Rochdale are also directed towards the school.
