Calling all English teachers seeking a new position from September 2019, or sooner.

Are you a qualified English teacher with experience teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE? Are you wishing to secure a new position ahead of the new academic year? Our client secondary school in Salford have an open vacancy for a full-time English teacher to join their expanding team from September 2019 or sooner if possible.

- English teacher required from September 2019 or sooner if possible, Salford based secondary school.
-Secure employment for the full academic year 2019/2020 with the possibility of extension.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum), English teachers of all experience levels are welcome to apply for this position.
- Located in Salford, accessible via the M602 and A580 (East Lancashire Road).

This position will incorporate teaching a full English timetable across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, with the possibility of an earlier start to partake in intervention delivery. You will be expected to plan, deliver and assess schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum and attend parents evenings and progress meetings.

The school has recently been refurbished through the Salford Schools' Development Programme creating additional space within the English department for open learning areas and closed large classrooms. You will have access to the open learning area to deliver diverse and interactive lessons, and a closed classroom for work based learning. It is expected that you can evidence experience of delivering lessons that are inclusive and challenging to all abilities as this is a core principle of all lessons.

Situated near to the Worsley area of Salford, our client secondary school has been graded 'Good' in recent Ofsted inspections. The A580 (East Lancashire Road) is close by to the school, therefore commuting is easy from Manchester.
