Full Time • HLTA • General Classroom Support & Cover
Pay Rate: £95–£110 per day (DOE)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Widnes. This role offers a varied timetable, providing general HLTA support across different classes and delivering high‑quality classroom cover where needed.

The Role
As the school’s HLTA, you will:
- Deliver pre‑prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when teachers are absent
- Support learning in class by working with whole-class, small groups and individual pupils
- Assist with intervention groups across core subjects
- Adapt learning materials for pupils of differing abilities
- Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour
- Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders
- Build positive relationships with pupils to support their engagement and progress
This is an ideal role for an HLTA who enjoys a dynamic day-to-day environment and is confident covering a range of primary year groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
