English teacher - Bolton

Are you an English teacher looking for a full time job in September? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an English teacher for a client school based in Bolton.

You will be employed initially on a 12 month temporary basis however there will be the view to be taken on beyond the 12 months if successful. You will be required to teach both KS3 and KS4 students and support them in their upcoming GCSE English exams.

• English teacher - 12 month contract from September 2019
• Teaching both KS3 and GCSE English to students aged 11-16
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
• Full planning and marking responsibilities included

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Roman Catholic school where you will receive full support during your placement from senior leaders and the Head of the English department. The successful English teacher will be required to teach students in both KS3 and KS4 these students will be ranging in ability and you must cater for this in your lessons, classes are setted by ability to make this an easier task. The head of department is looking for a teacher that can boost results amongst students. You will be taking on a full time role so you will be taking on full lesson planning and marking responsibilities however this will be reflected in your pay.

The school is a relatively small school with around 860 students on roll. With the school being a Roman Catholic school it is important that you show respect for religious and moral values and an attitude of tolerance and understanding towards other religions, races and ways of life. Located in Bolton, the school is just a short drive from the M61 motorway; alternatively the public transport links are very accessible to the surrounding areas, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester and Wigan.
