English Teacher
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a well respected Secondary school in Wigan to source an English Teacher on a full-time basis from Easter 2019 or sooner if appropriate.
This is an outstanding opportunity to continue your career within a supportive English department for the remainder of the academic year. The school are offering the successful applicant employment until July in the first instance but have an open gap within their department leading into September.
- Full time Teacher of English post until at least July in the first instance
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (ÂŁ23,720-ÂŁ39,406)
- Teaching English to both KS3 and KS4
Applicants should hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications within the UK, as well as experience teaching both English Language and Literature up to GCSE level.

The school is slightly smaller than the average size with just over 750 pupils on roll. The vast majority of pupils who attend are from a White British background. The numbers of pupils who speak English as an Additional Language is below the national average. It has an excellent reputation within the local area with a strong sense of community felt throughout.
The school is located on the outskirts of Leigh town centre making it accessible for those on public transport also. It is easily accessible from both the surrounding areas of Bolton and Wigan respectively via the A579.
