Inspire Learning as a Flexible Tutor – Nottinghamshire

Are you passionate about education and dedicated to helping students thrive? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic, dependable tutors from a range of subject backgrounds to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 throughout Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference—on a schedule that suits you.

About the Role

As a tutor, you will provide targeted academic support to students in one-to-one or small group settings. Sessions will follow the national curriculum and focus on boosting confidence, closing learning gaps, and preparing pupils for academic success. Tuition may take place in schools or at approved off-site locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored tuition in your specialist subject(s) to KS3 and/or KS4 students

  • Adapt your teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs

  • Support students in understanding key concepts and improving their academic performance

  • Maintain a professional and engaging teaching approach

  • Travel to different educational settings as required

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 4:00pm

  • Typically 10–15 hours of tuition per pupil

  • Opportunity to support multiple students per day

  • Flexible schedule – you choose your availability

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience teaching or tutoring students at KS3 and/or KS4

  • Strong grasp of your subject area and relevant curriculum standards

  • Ability to adapt instruction to suit various ability levels

  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
