Teaching Personnel is currently seeking passionate and dedicated English tutors to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Nottinghamshire. About the Role

As an English tutor, you will work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, delivering personalised sessions that align with the national curriculum. The role is designed to offer flexibility in both hours and location, making it well-suited to individuals with other professional or academic commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver tailored English tuition sessions to KS3 and KS4 pupils

• Address gaps in knowledge, improve confidence, and support exam preparation

• Adapt sessions to suit each student’s ability and learning style

• Maintain a professional and reliable teaching approach

• Work across various settings, including schools and designated off-site locations

Working Pattern and Hours

• Sessions available Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 4:00pm

• Up to 10–15 hours of tuition per pupil, with the opportunity to support multiple pupils per day

• You set your own availability to fit your lifestyle and other commitments

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience teaching or tutoring English at KS3 and/or KS4 level

• A professional, organised, and independent teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
