Empower Students as a Flexible Maths Tutor – Nottinghamshire
Are you passionate about Maths and committed to helping students succeed? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Maths tutors to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to provide focused academic support on a flexible schedule that works for you.
About the Role
As a Maths tutor, you'll deliver personalised tuition that builds confidence, fills knowledge gaps, and prepares students for exams. Sessions take place one-to-one or in small groups, aligned with the national curriculum, in schools or designated off-site locations.
Key Responsibilities

Provide targeted Maths tuition to KS3 and KS4 students

Tailor each session to meet individual needs and learning styles

Support pupils in understanding key mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques

Maintain a professional and consistent teaching approach

Deliver sessions across various settings, depending on need
Working Hours
-
Monday to Friday, between 8:30am – 4:00pm

Up to 10–15 hours of tuition per pupil, with the chance to support several pupils per day

You choose your availability to suit your lifestyle or other commitments

Essential Skills and Experience

Previous experience teaching or tutoring Maths at KS3 and/or KS4

Strong understanding of the Maths curriculum and assessment methods

Ability to adapt your teaching to different ability levels

Organised, professional, and able to work independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
