A Teacher of English is required at a local secondary school in Plymouth to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 students in the next academic year. The role will start in September and will initially be until October half term, with the view of continuing on until Christmas.
This role will involve the planning, preparing and delivery of lessons with support from the Head of department.
The successful Teacher will need:
- A PGCE qualification with QTS – NQTs are encouraged to apply for this position
- Have a strong behaviour management and relationship skills
- Be able to adapt your lessons to suit the ability of your classes
- Be a reliable and enthusiastic teacher and be passionate about your subject
