English Teacher.

Teaching Personnel has been approached by a specialist provision in Chorley which caters for pupils aged 2-19 with a wide range of learning difficulties, including autism, complex medical needs and sensory impairments. They are looking for an English Teacher to join their team from May 2024. Many pupils who attend this school required 1-1 support and follow EHCP’s, alongside alternative learning approaches such as sensory play and outdoor activities.

  • Chorley based (PR7).
  • Start date: May 2024.
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Full-time role (Mon-Fri, 8:30-3:30).
  • Competitive daily rate of £110 - £200 per day.

As an English Teacher you will be required to:

  • Deliver high quality lessons following the KS3/KS4 National Curriculum.
  • Adhering to EHCP’s and additional needs when necessary.
  • Alter your teaching approach according to individual pupil’s needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Deal with potentially difficult situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
