Job description

ENGLISH TEACHER NEEDED ASAP

We are currently looking for a Fully Qualified OR an Early Career’s English Teachers for one our client mainstream secondary schools in Bourne End. This role commences ASAP.

Successful candidates will be required to teach English Language and English Literature up to KS5. As well as taking on full departmental responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons as well as marking. There is also a chance for extra responsibilities for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and who will bring passion to the role. They will also need to provide a high-quality teaching experience to encourage and nurture the student’s educational attainment.

About the Role

  • Be required to undertake teacher responsibility including planning, preparing lessons and marking.
  • Hold QTS/ECT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • full-time position
  • Have experience teaching English Language and Literature at a KS5 level (A-Level).
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Residing in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
